Role and Responsibilities
As an ML engineer , you will be responsible for building our machine learning team and infrastructure. You will lead the architectural vision, ensuring that our ML team and systems can handle different types of training and inference requirements. As this is a new domain, you will also be responsible for mentoring and bootstrapping other team members.
We seek a candidate with a deep understanding of the fundamental workings of LLMs, coupled with strong expertise in their inference stack and their application to various problems. Proficiency in coding with Python is essential.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in machine learning, with at least 5+ years of deep learning experience preferred.
- Must have a strong understanding of the inner workings of neural networks, including debugging, training, etc.
- Proven experience in solving problems that involve designing and deploying new models.
- Solid understanding of LLMs, their capabilities, limitations, and the state of the art of their applications.
- Ability to quickly iterate over ML models for fast POCs.
